It's been more than 2 years since I last posted but I need to share some news. Hopefully this will be updated more often. But if I don't update it you can always check out my website www.ericrook.us.

I have been working really hard on my school work so I haven't been able to work that much on my music. I've learned a bunch of stuff in school and I'm excited to keep learning. Also, I got married last December. It was the most amazing experience of my life. Me and my WIFE went on a cruise for our honeymoon and it was awesome as well.

I realize that this post covers two years in a few paragraphs but that's pretty much what's been going on in my life.

I haven't been doing a lot of music lately. Mostly I've been focusing on getting good grades in college. I go to the University of Central Florida.

I also just started singing on the worship team at The Voice. It's great. Hopefully I'll be able to lead eventually.

School is really easy. Everyone always told me that college would be so much harder than high school, but they were wrong.

I've been really tired lately because I've been writing tons of lyrics at 2 o'clock in the morning. I haven't gotten the chance to record any of them yet but as soon as I do I'll let you all hear them. I'm really excited about the worship vibe of all the new stuff.

Since my last post I got a job leading worship at a small church out in St. Petersburg. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks I was fired. It sucks but at least I made a little money doing what I love. I know that God will provide for me. I go tomorrow for an interview at walmart. Hopefully everything goes well.

So this is the first post that I've made from my iPod Touch so I'm pretty excited. It has been a while since my last post so here it go. I now work at an animal hospital to pay the bills. I have also been writing a bunch of new material and I can't wait for my next show so that you all can hear it.

I sang "Mary Did You Know" this morning at Quest@kingsway. The video, or at least the audio should be up in a couple days.

Here is the video from the In-store finals. He didn't win but as you can see, he still did amazing.

So, tonight my drummer, Tony Rook, played in the 1st round of the Guitar Center drum-off. Needless to say he won the first round. The next drum-off is Oct. 14th at 7:00pm. Keep him in your prayers and I'll keep you posted.

So, it's 2:30a.m. and I am kinda tired, but I wanted to give you all an update.

The band I currently play in called theProcess is playing a show on October 17th at Trinity Baptist Church in New Port Richey, FL. We are playing originals as well as worship covers. It's pretty exciting. Check out my myspace for more info.
